Moved to Memaliaj
End of June the Reichert-family moved into our newly renovated flat in Memaliaj. Living on the 3rd floor (s. photo, top floor) is quite different to our basement-apartment in Gjirokastra.We were glad to have people come and stay in our little flat: an English couple that did a great job with a puppet ministry for kids, Rakela our first Albanian New Dimensions candidate and friends from the Gjirokastra church; also people from the Memaliaj church come round regularly and we have good times chatting with each other or just playing a game. We enjoy the friendly atmosphere in Memaliaj; the heat (especially in our apartment) is hard to bear at times, so it is nice for us as a family to get refreshed in the river.
In the summer water is scarce and it is a blessing to have nice neighbours where we can fill up a couple of buckets when we run out of water!
Fred and Eva are in Switzerland until mid-September and in the end of October we will start as a small community.
