God speaks through dreams
Dana (name is changed) got my attention for the first time, when I bought some items in her little shop. She is a sensitive person, able to sense other people’s needs.
She empathized with her neighbours when they were going through a difficult time. After I had been several times to her shop, she one day took me aside and told me: „I had a dream last night. I saw a locked door leading into freedom and in my dream I felt the impulse to ask the foreign missionary, how this door can be opened.”
I was touched by her hunger for God and I was able to share Jesus Christ with her, that He lives and forgives our sins and that He is looking for relationship with us. Regardless whether people are from an atheistic or muslim backgroung (like her), God loves everybody and shows personal interest in each one. That is why He gave her that dream.
Today Dana is one of my best Albanian friends. Often the neighbours see us reading the bible together, Dana is praying together with her children and I am intrigued to see what plans God still has for her life.
