Rakela

Rakela introduces herself:

I am grateful, that God gave me the opportunity to work for 9 years in the children’s home “Hiding place” in Gjirokastra. During that time God helped me in my character development and prepared me for the future. Even though I like working with children I sensed that my time here was coming to a closure. While I was praying over what my next step might be, Daniel and Monika had it on their mind to ask me to consider joining them in their new mission in Memaliaj. When I shared with them about what I sensed and asked them for counsel, they challenged me to pray about joining them im Memaliaj. In a prayer time I had a strong impression, that God was indeed calling me to that town.

This is on my heart:

My vision is to help people in need, especially those that had difficult experiences in the past, so that they experience inner healing and restoration.

In the beginning I want to do visits to different people to find out with whom I ought to spend more time.
I also want offer hospitality in my flat for people who need some fellowship and time of relaxation.
And obviously I will be part of the New Dimensions team and help New Dimensions ministries develop.

As New Dimensions Team

we are excited that Rakela will join as. We have known her for years, worked together in the teenager-group, Rakela led teenager camps in the Nehemia church. We have seen her heart to follow Jesus and desire to serve him.
It is moving that Rakela left her job with a salary to live by faith here in Memaliaj.
